"The Psychedelic Avengers and the Decterian Blood Empire" is the latest CD of the "The Psychedelic Avengers" project. Release Date is the 24.03.2006.

This double CD relates the story of the Psychedelic Avengers and the Decterian Blood Empire. It is not a compilation, nor an audio book or anything like this. It is a 155 minute long, unique psychedelic, space, prog, rock, noise, electro, alternative, drone, wave, cyber, pop, experimental trip – a mind expanding interstellar space opera and the perfect soundtrack for your very own imaginary science fiction mind movie.

Over 43 artists and bands from countries like Japan, Greece, Sweden, UK, USA, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Finland and from many different musical genres have worked together and cooperated on this album; united through their love for science fiction and psychedelic music in all it’s manifestations and formulations.

The songs, tracks and soundscapes of this CD are all toned parts from the story of The Psychedelic Avengers and the Decterian Blood Empire. Leo Lukas (a.o. Perry Rhodan author) has written down this story, that could easily fill 6 volumes, really really shortend for the booklet. The musicians and bands took parts, scenes, events, characters from this background story and put them to music, sometimes with classic song structure, sometimes as psychedelic-narrative soundscape. Also an essential part of this project is, that on each song at least two different musicians/bands from preferably totally different musically genres work together – or at least share recording files and ideas.

The CD will be released as double CD with 16 pages booklet for the price of a normal CD !!! It features 40 Songs and has a running time of 155 minutes.
